Indian Institute of Political Leadership (IIPL) was founded by Satish Chandar, an eminent editor, political analyst and writer. It was founded in the year 2014 with an objective of sending young and good blood into politics.
IIPL is an academic initiative of Confederation of Oppressed Groups (COG) Regd.
Satish Chandar is a senior editor with an experience spanning more than 35 years. He is one of the founding editors of Vaartha, a Telugu daily newspaper. He worked as the Chief Editor of Andhra Prabha. He interacted and interviewed Rajiv Gandhi and VP Singh, former Prime Ministers of India and also interview persons like Biju Patnaik, Devilal among others who changed the political scenario in India. He travelled closely with Kanshi Ram. He is one of the few intellectuals who Kanshi Ram met during his visits to Telugu states.
Moreover, he closely observed the tactics of Marri Chennareddy, Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy, Vijayabhaskar Reddy, N T Ramarao, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy the former Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh. He also took active part in various Left, Bahujan, Literary and Cultural movements.
As a founder and Chairman of A.P.College of Journalism, he has been training journalists since 1997. His students are now working in all print and electronic media across different hierarchies.
Kishen Chandar is a Co-founder of IIPL. He studied post graduation in Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, a premier institute considered as the best B-School in India. Prior to that he completed B.E (Computer Science) from CBIT, Hyderabad.
He worked as the head of operations and marketing in an MNC. He was instrumental in shaping and implementing efficient policies within the company. His growth strategies have attracted the Nitish Kumar’s government. He and along with his friend presented a paper to the the Agriculture Minister of Bihar.
He did a project under APJ Abdul Kalam and won his appreciation.
He is also the founder of Innoel Technologies and Solutions, an IT firm specializing in eLearning. He provided eLearning solution to the Andhra Pradesh State Police Department. More than 20000 officers were trained on the eLearning Solution.
In his spare time he along with a friend mentors underprivileged kids under the umbrella organization called Goosebumps which he co-founded. It uses sports as a medium to reach out to children and help them. He helps kids with various needs and skills.
He aims to bring international standards to administration of IIPL with scientific outlook.
